A delegation from the Office of Merchant Marine and Ports Authority, representing the following departement: Studies and Development, Financial Affairs and Training, recently participated in the work of the YEP MED Project Steering Committee in Civita Vecchia, Italy, on 1st and 2nd December 2022. The third edition of the vocational training program within the framework of the YepMed Tunisia project was launched on 21 to 25 November 2022 with the participation of 49 Tunisian students for training in international trade and logistics operations.
The training was facilitated by academic experts from various institutions, including the Office of Merchant Marine and Ports Authority, member of the YepMed project, represented by Mr. Jobrane ben Mansour, Head of Division at the departement of Studies and Development, where he gave an overview of the current situation of the maritime transport sector and its actors at international and local levels.
The training aims to enrich the knowledge of candidates in this sector, who will subsequently choose to participate in advanced courses on international trade using the Port Virtual Lab simulator supported by the YepMed project.
