The Merchant Marine and Ports Authority «OMMP» is setting up two charging units for electric cars in the ports of La Goulette and Zarzis

As part of the improvement of the energy transition toward clean energy and in support of national efforts to establish a network of charging points for electric vehicles, and in coordination with the National Agency for Energy Management “ANME,” the Merchant Marine and Ports Authority”OMMP” has acquired and installed two charging units for electric vehicles at the ports of La Goulette and Zarzis, each with a power of 22 kilowatts, noting that the two aforementioned charging units have been in service since December 2025.

This project aims to contribute to supporting the national orientation toward sustainable mobility, promoting the culture of clean mobility, and bringing the service closer to travelers thru the ports of La Goulette and Zarzis.
