By the promulgation of the new Code of Maritime Ports of commerce which provides the one hand, the introduction of the concession regime of public property and port equipment with or without public service obligation for a period of 30 to 50 years and restructuring the employment regime of the work of other dockers hand, the Tunisian commercial ports aspire meet the real demands of the economic changes that have resulted in profound changes in the world of shipping and on packaging, handling and appropriate logistics for the treatment of trade and international trade.
